Sixers list Joel Embiid and Paul George as out for Wednesday’s game vs. Wizards

The Sixers' initial injury report for their game against the NBA-worst Washington Wizards is not pretty.

Joel Embiid (left foot sprain) is listed as out, marking the second straight contest he will miss with an injury he suffered on Christmas Day but had been playing through up until Monday night. The Sixers failed to win that game without Embiid, largely because Paul George posted a 5-for-18 shooting line. Now, George is also listed as out, as left groin tightness will cost him a chance to rebound against the Wizards.

Additionally, Kyle Lowry will miss his second straight game due to right hip soreness, while Andre Drummond is questionable with a left toe sprain which has caused him to miss four of the team's last seven games.
