Reports: Jaguars suffer two major injuries in advance of Week 9 matchup vs. Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles' Week 9 opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, suffered injuries to Brian Thomas and Christian Kirk, their two best receivers, during their Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Kirk's season is over after reportedly suffering a fractured collarbone:

Kirk had 84 catches for 1108 yards and 8 TDs in 2022. In 2023, he had 57 catches for 787 yards and 3 TDs, despite missing five games.

Thomas "could miss 2-4 weeks" with a chest injury, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN:

Brian Thomas 33 573 17.4 5
Christian Kirk 27 379 14.0 1
Gabe Davis 18 217 12.1 2
Brenton Strange 18 190 10.6 2
