Paul George (knee) participates in first full Sixers practice, with return timeline still unclear

CAMDEN, N.J. — Sixers wing Paul George was a full participant in the team's practice on Thursday morning, the first time that has been true during the team's two-plus weeks of official team activities. George's participation included some involvement in live five-on-five action.

Sixers head coach Nick Nurse's priority for Friday's preseason finale against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he said, is to have "main guys playing as long and as much together as we can," and while that very well may include Joel Embiid — a decision on that front will be made Friday — Nurse did not exactly encourage speculation that George could suit up in the team's last exhibition.

"Today was a short amount of five-on-five," Nurse said. "So we have to just keep waiting."
