Joel Embiid listed as questionable for Sixers-Mavericks on Tuesday

Hours after a Monday morning practice in which Sixers head coach Nick Nurse said all players aside from Jared McCain were participants, the Sixers have released an injury report for Tuesday night's home game against the new-look Dallas Mavericks. It looks a whole lot better than it usually has this season:

Player Injury Status
Joel Embiid left knee injury management QUESTIONABLE
Eric Gordon left knee soreness QUESTIONABLE
Caleb Martin right hip sprain QUESTIONABLE
KJ Martin left foot stress fracture QUESTIONABLE
Andre Drummond left toe injury recovery QUESTIONABLE
Paul George left finger extensor tendon injury OUT
Jared McCain torn left meniscus OUT

Embiid, who has not played since Jan. 4 due to a foot sprain and increased swelling in his knee, has missed 15 consecutive games, while a finger sprain later revealed to be an injury to the extensor tendon has cost Paul George three games since exiting the team's Jan. 25 win early.

Before the Sixers fell to the Boston Celtics on Sunday evening, Nurse said he believed the team was "a little closer" to seeing their injured players return and that "the rest of them" could be back later this week. The team has been decimated by injuries for nearly the entirety of their season, one of the primary factors behind a massively disappointing 19-29 record.
