The Philadelphia Eagles listed 10 players (not including resting players) on their initial injury report ahead of their Wild Card Round matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers listed 12 players on their initial injury report.

RB Will Shipley Ankle Limited
TE Dallas Goedert Knee Full

Wednesday notes (walkthrough)

• Hurts practiced. That is a strong sign that he will play on Sunday. The Eagles also waived QB4 Ian Book on Tuesday.

Other notable players on IR, PUP, suspension, etc.

• EDGE Brandon Graham (IR): Graham tore his left triceps in the Eagles' win over the Rams. Before the season, Graham said that the 2024 season, his 15th in the NFL, would be his last. He played very well, and was arguably the team's best edge defender. Graham finished with 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks, with his stats not truly showing his actual impact, as has been the case throughout his career.

• WR/RS Britain Covey (IR): Covey was previously on IR with a shoulder injury. He returned from that injury and played in games, but landed on IR once again with a neck injury. Cooper DeJean will return punts.

• FB Ben VanSumeren (IR): VanSumeren was a core special teams player and linebacker who became a fullback for the Eagles this season, and looked pretty good in that role. He suffered a lower-body injury during practice and landed on IR.

• Jordan Love has soreness in his elbow, hence his limited participation in practice:

Jordan Love says he has no more numbness in his hand but some soreness in his throwing elbow, which is why he was limited today.

Packers media didn't get to see Love throw during practice:

#Packers QB Jordan Love (elbow) is taking part in warmups, but team is making sure media doesn’t see whether he can throw by closing practice after team stretch. Usually get to see individual drills. pic.twitter.com/uCcVj4mrGb

Expect Love to play, but we'll monitor his progress throughout the week.

It's notable that Love's backup, Malik Willis, was also limited.

• Edgerrin Cooper and Quay Walker are the Packers' starting linebackers, and Bullard is a starting safety / slot guy. The Packers are banged up in the middle of the field.

• Brenton Cox is an up-and-coming edge rusher who got more playing time after the Packers traded Preston Smith. He has 4 sacks in 7 games.

Other notable players on IR, PUP, suspension, etc.

• CB Jaire Alexander (IR): Alexander is the Packers' CB1 and a two-time All-Pro. He traveled with A.J. Brown during the Eagles' and Packers' Week 1 matchup. The Packers' starting corners are now Keisean Nixon and 2023 seventh-round pick Carrington Valentine, who we covered in our Eagles-Packers preview.

• WR Christian Watson: Watson is the Packers' most dangerous deep threat, as he is averaging 21.4 yards per catch on the season, He tore an ACL against the Bears Week 18. The Packers have not yet placed Watson on IR, but his season is over.

• OT Jordan Morgan (IR): Morgan was the Packers' first-round pick in 2024. He appeared in six games, starting just one. He is a rare NFL (Eagles excluded) first-round offensive line pick not to start immediately as a rookie. His season is over with a shoulder injury.

• RB AJ Dillon (IR): Dillon is a 247-pound sledgehammer back. He has been out the entire season with a neck injury.
