CHICAGO, IL — Sixers center Joel Embiid, who has missed seven consecutive games due to left knee injury management — and was designated with "personal reasons" for a few of those contests — is listed as questionable for the Sixers' next game, a Sunday afternoon road contest against the Chicago Bulls.

Embiid missed the first nine games of the team's season due to left knee injury management and a three-game suspension before making his season debut. Embiid played in four of five games. In his first three appearances, Embiid looked like a shell of himself. On Nov. 20, though, he scored 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a road loss against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Sixers said that swelling arose in Embiid's left knee following that game, and he has not played since. Sixers head coach Nick Nurse has continually indicated that Embiid was nearing a return, and with the former NBA MVP being upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game, it appears he may be back on the floor in the Windy City.

Rookie center Adem Bona is the only other Sixer with an injury listed on the injury report. Bona is out and will miss his second straight game due to a left knee contusion.
