The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Saturday that Dallas Goedert is headed to injured reserve, as expected. Goedert suffered a knee injury during the Eagles' win over the Baltimore Ravens Week 13.

Goedert missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury. In his absence, Grant Calcaterra started and caught all 9 of his targets for 93 yards.

Goedert also missed three games in 2023 and five games in 2022. He will miss at least the next four games. The Eagles' remaining regular season schedule:

• Week 14: Panthers
• Week 15: Steelers
• Week 16: At Commanders
• Week 17: Cowboys
• Week 18: Giants

Goedert has 38 catches on 46 targets for 441 yards and 2 TDs this season. He doesn't have high volume stats, but he has been an efficient receiver when the ball has come his way, averaging 9.6 yards per target.

Calcaterra will start in Goedert's absence, and E.J. Jenkins was promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Goedert and Calcaterra are both under contract through the 2025 season, but it's a decent bet that the Eagles will add a tight end in the 2025 NFL Draft.
