Curtis Bashaw, U.S. Senate candidate in N.J., says he froze during debate because he didn’t eat enough

Curtis Bashaw, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, appeared to nearly pass out during his debate Sunday night with Democratic opponent Andy Kim. Bashaw, a businessman from Cape May, stalled during a response and looked disoriented at the podium. Kim crossed the stage to check on him. Bashaw later said the incident happened because didn't eat enough on Sunday before the debate.
